Guard Snap App

RT Design Group is pleased to announce a new project’s success. Guard Snap is an innovative application for smart phone platforms that allows users to snap photos of their location and attacker in the unexpected and horrific case of assault. The first of its kind, Guard Snap provides a unique solution for women and men in potentially vulnerable situations. Because of the Guard Snap team’s commitment to safety and crime prevention, they began the process of designing a method to connect victims and law enforcement teams before the unthinkable would happen in victims’ lives, thereby preventing serious injuries, traumatic incidents, and even death.

Our client made the decision to create the Guard Snap app after becoming aware of incidences of assault surrounding the real estate industry. Agents would show homes, and because of the vulnerable nature of entering private residences, would fall victim to violence or attack. The Guard Snap app allows smart phone users to take a photo of their assailant and instantly upload the photo and location to the local law enforcement office, notifying them of the the attack and its corresponding location.

As we worked with the Guard Snap team to design and develop the app, we focused on progressive design as well as ease of use. We wanted a highly functional app that worked quickly, and we delivered a product that saves users valuable time during potentially dangerous situations. Guard Snap was met with immediate success and continues to gain momentum.
