RT Design Group on Wink News

Brian and I had the opportunity to appear on Wink News in response to the SOPA/PIPA initiatives going in front of congress. These acts have the ability to impact small businesses all over the country. Though we continue to design and build websites with attention to copyright laws, these acts would impact internet activity in general, along with existing sites already up and running. In the process, they could potentially result in huge changes that would impact many small business' sites. Sites would be scrutinized, and additionally, once the laws pass, they are very difficult to reverse, and sites are immediately liable for their existing content. Moreover, the internet may not be as free and independent as we are used to it being.
